Cast & Info: City Streets

(these are in-entry codes; I'm just saving room due to size)

Hey guys! I've got a two-set for you today: A cast list and a matching basic information code, loosely based on my last bio code, Headliner.

These codes are wide and clean with lots of room to breathe. Both codes are hidden click with a default of four sections, but can very easily hold more as long as you don't break the entry limit.

These shouldn't be hard to make match any game's colors and images, and you can really turn the text information code into just about any type of information you want. Enjoy! ♥

No-scroll single page cast list: with section headers | without section headers

Coding: Cast List

Coding: Text Information

Installation Guide

Paste into an entry and fill in the following!

MODURL - Mod journal's username
MODICON - Your game's default icon

Each character block (cast list only)
JOURNALNAME - Overall font
SQUAREPIC - Must be at least 160px (remove height declaration for vertical rectangle images instead)

Section one info through Section four info - your info sections (text information code only; this will change to yoursectionname info if you have already done the above replace alls)

I love how neat and clean this is.

Thank you! ♥ I wanted people to be able to match it to their game's existing theme with minimal effort, haha.

It's really great how versatile this is! My brain's already made half a dozen suggestions for what to do with it, and I only woke up ten minutes ago.

Aw, good! I wanted the secondary option to be as open-use as possible. I hope you have fun editing it! ♥

Sorry to bother you on this, but should someone want to make it extend longer so that it didn't scroll when there were so many things listed on the cast page, how would you go about that? I tried and it spaces everyone out huge

It's no problem! If you take out the scrolling the hidden sections will break, but you have a few options.

• If you only need one cast list with no sections this issue doesn't matter at all and I can make the code smaller so that it's a single non-scrolling section.

• If you need the hidden sections then removing scrolling isn't an option, unfortunately. It can technically be done, but you'd have to guess the height of each section, and any section smaller than that would wind up with a funky gap at the end.

• If you need more than one cast list, but don't mind them being in their own codes and/or on their own entries, we could do the smaller code option and you could use it for each separate cast list without any hidden sections.

• An alternate option would be the single page code without hidden sections, but with headers above each cast list section to break them up into sections; that way you wouldn't need to paste the code multiple times.

The one cast list with no sections is what I was looking for. You, my dear, are a genius and I love your work!

Aw, no problem at all! ♥ Thank you!

LOL np np! ♥

It took me a second to realize what was wrong because you definitely didn't mess anything up, but! It turns out that the PB names of a couple of the cast members are a single character too long for the block width and they're pushing the width out (Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Dean Charles-Chapman, DAMN YOU HYPHENS LOL.)

Luckily the fix is SUPER easy! Just change width:1000px; to width:1005px; in the outermost container and it'll be just the smidge wider that it needs to be to fit those longer names!

Oh my goodness you are a CLEVER STAR ♥ I never even thought of that, wow. It must have looked like that in Chrome the entire time (I was using Firefox until recently), wow. Thank you so much! :D

Aw, no problem! Browser-to-browser differences really like to ruin the party sometimes LOL.

Firefox loves nothing more than to break all coding :( I've tweaked that code now so hopefully it looks okay! I decided to tweak it on my phone while I'm at work so I'll have to check when I'm at home on my laptop but I'm optimistic :D

LOL god ikr? It looks like it's all squared away on my monitor, so you should be good to go now! :D
