Another. Freakin'. Layout. I know, I know, haha. 'TIS THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT OR... SOMETHING. Anyhoo, a light and dark version of this S1 Generator layout. Enjoy! <3

Want a matching thread tracker? Well, good news! ~affictitious made one and it's super cute. :D
002: The Layout

003: Directions
→Make sure you have a website in your profile page.

→All done! :D

005: Rules and Shit
→Credit me in your profile if you remove my link from the sidebar's coding.
→Do not remove my credit from the CSS.
→Do not redistribute in part or in whole.
→If you break something during editing don't be scared to ask me to see what happened. Yep. That's a rule.
→If you're a maker like I am and you do something cool with this I'd really like to see it, but it's not necessary.

I love this! So sexy!

This is so pretty. Is there any chance of you designing something similar in an S2 style? I rely pretty heavily on being able to see tags on my flists for RP stuff, plus the s1 layouts tend to not work very well on my iPhone for some reason.

I love it, I'm definitely going to be using this in the future. I should not be online right now, but I had to tell you this is great. o: *Rolls away*.

This is gorgeous. I am totally using it for my next character. Thank you so much! <333 I can only imagine how much work you put into these for other people. You are a generous kind soul.

This is amazing too! You're so talented! I'm envious..lol.

New favourite layout, hands down. Using it here, and probably many other journals.

First of all this is beautiful and I am so glad that you make layouts because they are by far the best!

Secondly, is there a way (on the dark layout) to make it so that the names of the friends/communities shows up? It shows up as black for me as well as in the preview, and I've tried to put a new color into the coding but it doesn't change anything. It's not a huge deal, it just would be nice to be able to see the names!

This layout is, by far, one of my absolute favorites. Thank you for making such lovely layouts!

So this is by far my favorite layout EVER, but I was wondering if there's any way to add a tags list to the sidebar?

Another fabulous layout, Tess! Thank you for sharing these! I'm using it for this journal. I made one minor change from lower case to uppercase, but I made sure to credit you on the profile, too. :)

I'm probably just being dumb and doing something wrong, but I can't get the sidebar to show up? I set all the settings to what you've described in the instructions, but when I paste the code, even if I copy-paste it straight from your source without changing a thing (like text and pictures), the sidebar and everything else in it is missing.

What am I doing wrong and how do I get it to work? Any help would be appreciated. :)

This is amazing. I use it in two different journals. Though in the friends page, the brackets seem to space out all the way down (you can see it in my friends list in [info]be_realistic). Is there any way to fix that?

By any chance does any of your codes work on tumblr? I really love them
Mar. 28th, 2014 07:11 pm (UTC)
beautiful! I used it here with some minor changes :)

Using it on this journal, and I absolutely love it, but I was wondering, is there a way to get the dates/times for the entries to show up again? I'm not very code literate and I managed to get the date back using a trick from a different layout I'm using on another account, but that managed to completely broke everything else so I just put it back the way it was.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hey, I have a quick question on this layout (I love it, btw), how would I change the color of the journal username link that appears under the icons on the friend's page? I want to change it to the red accent color so it's easier to read from mobile devices, but I can't find the proper place in the code and I don't want to screw something up by trying. Thanks!

Hi there! I love this layout, I'm using it here among a few other journals, but i've noticed on the flist there is no button/link to go to previous entries. I was wondering it that was a ij thing (i'm new to ij) or if that was from the layout. Any help would be super fantastic. :D

stg i left a comment here, but i failed. using it at this journal with some modifications. it's hands down one of my favourite layouts of yours. cheers!

I'm using this layout in the journal. Some reason the mood + music line aligned right rather than left. Also the text of entries/posts that use that wrap around the mood + music part too. I'm not sure if it's due to the fact I added date and time or what. What can I do to fix that? I love the layout but that is my main problem with it.
Oct. 9th, 2014 06:29 am (UTC)
I have a question! I added this layout to my journal here. BECAUSE YOU ARE FABULOUS as are the rest of your layouts and just everything. The end. Anyway that was obviously NOT the question. Everytime I see this layout though the two pictures next to the gif are all broken. Is there a way to fix this?
Jan. 1st, 2015 07:11 pm (UTC)
I am using the coding at this journal but where do I change the font in the entries themselves from tahoma/verdana to arial?
Mar. 12th, 2015 07:27 am (UTC)
Aaaaah love this layout.

Ok so I managed to widen the entry section without stuffing anything up so yay. but I was wonder what part of the code i changed so that on the friends page the icon and main text doesn't sit so close to where the subject title is?

also how to get a slightly wider padding/text wrap or whatever so that the entry text isn't hugging the icon so tightly?

I'm using this layout for several journals/comms, and I have a question for you~

The first custom link in the sidebar refuses to link properly, no matter what url style I use; it always duplicates the url, i,e username.insanejournal.com/username.insanejournal.com. The second custom link is never affected like that, and I can't figure out why it's special. If you could solve it, I'd appreciate your help very much!
